As you allhave experienced back 2 weeks ago there was a new method how Steam picked up Hacks. Even Hacks like Furious SP-X which were undetected for nearly a year up to now suddenly got detected by Steam. It didn´t take long and the guys from VacDisabled found out about the method how Steam did detect all the Hacks. It is just a plain and simple crc-check detection. Each file on a computer has a unique signature (CRC) and so each binary and loader has a unique CRC. When you inject a hack into CS the CRC of the hack is loaded into your computer's memory. VAC2 can see each CRC in memory and if one of them matches a CRC of a hack that VAC2 is looking for, it flags you as cheating, and you will be VAC-banned in a short while. But of course there is a way to change this unique CRC simply by editing the files with an Hex-Editor. So finally you will have an unique loader/binary and Steam/VAC2 won´t be able to crc-detect your hack because it will be different from the one that is stored here on the downloads section. All that was missing was a step by step illustration with an easy to understand description and some images so anyone can follow. ALL CS 1.6 Hacks DETECTED Posted by Admin on Jun 18, 2006 - 11:53 (4095 Reads) Topic Detected Cheats and Hacks Please stop using all the Hacks that are available for download on the "VAC Proof Hacks" Section. Even those that got added within the last hours or minutes. It seems like there has been an unexpected occurrence to how VAC2 is picking up these recently released cheats and VacDisabled is working to correct it and get cheats out that are VAC2 proof. Ecstatic Cheat 12.14 the newest is VAC2 proof as of now since they have added the most current VAC2 disabling code to it. We are not sure about the CS:S Hacks yet but they probably are detected too. So taking a hack that is public and just editing the readme and renaming the files or modifying them a bit does not actually create a new hack. We here at CSH-Network are loyal to the original coders who spend their time to create the hacks and give you some extra support in addition and not to those that just steal stuff and claim it to be their own work. I had a little chat about this subject with XanTrax from VacDisabled.net and here is the report : :Mic Cheat is a rip from Ecstatic Cheat and the credits belong to VacDisabled.net . All Fighter FX versions are 1:1 rips of Furious SP-X . We have moved Furious SP-X back to the VAC2 Proof Hacks Section because it is still VAC2 Proof. B0ns4i v1.1 and Simple FFX are both rips of other hacks and detected by VAC. In future we will try to make sure that only those get the credit who deserve it and not the ones that just rename stuff. Well, a man in Florida is behind bars for allegedly shooting at his son's PC. Joseph Langenderfer is charged with attempted murder, after authorities said he fired a shot at his sons computer monitor. According to police, Langenderfer and his 22-year-old son Tim had a quarrel about how much time the young man spent playing computer games. The bullet that was supposed to destroy the pc monitor hit a wall close to where the son was standing. Right after this incident the son grabbed the phone and dialed 911. He told the police about the quarrel they had and that his dad had just shot at him. Langenderfer tried to convice the investigators that the gun went off accidentally. Read more... The hackers did not have their paws on that many accounts, but they were flogging them to their mates who could use them to post items for sale, collect payments and then never deliver the goods. Just a day after anti-virus vendors warned of a new zero-day vulnerability in Internet Explorer – the second such alert since Friday -- companies including Symantec and Secunia boosted security levels as news of a public exploit spread. Symantec issued warnings to customers of its DeepSight Threat Management System that an exploit had appeared for the just-announced CreateTextRange JavaScript bug. "The DeepSight team has successfully tested this exploit, and verified that it does in fact work as advertised against a fully patched Windows XP SP2 machine," the warning read. Although the publicly-posted exploit only launches a copy of the Windows calculator, "replacing the shellcode in this exploit would be trivial even for an unskilled attacker," Symantec continued. Danish vulnerability tracker Secunia, which Wednesday had tagged the bug as "highly critical," raised the bar to its highest-possible "extremely critical" rating. Read more... Internet cafe computer mice are the second most bacteria-carrying item found in public facilities, surpassing toilet doorknobs and hand straps on busses, a study showed. The only item found by the Korea Consumer Protection Board to carry more bacteria than a cafe mouse were handles on shopping carts, The Korea Times reported this week. Many of the items tested were found to have staphylococcus aureus, bacteria that can cause infections if contact is made with a skin wound.
